/ Neato Product Alert

Better than a bento box and only $3.99!

I was sashaying through the local supermarket when I spotted what I thought were ice packs with fanciful designs on them. It wasn’t until I picked it up that I realized it was something *way* better…a small round divided snack holder! With a pink unicorn and matching castle on the front!

And as if my inner five year old wasn’t giddy enough already it came with a small ring shaped ice pack inside as to keep snack products appropriately chilled. The divider was also removable in case the yummy goodies inside needed more room. There’s even a little clip in case you want to attach it to a purse, backpack or lunchbox.

I grabbed up it quickly before the screaming boogie fingered toddler sitting in a shopping cart nearby managed to coerced her Mother into buying it.

It’s made by a company called Fit and Fresh. Their website is www.fit-fresh.com and don’t you know, they have all sorts of peachy keen products, though most are noticably lacking unicorns and heart shaped castles. Oh well. I’m still on a quest to find their salad shaker and the lunch on the go set anyway…

Yummy or Yikes?

Do you suppose that pickles marinated in kool aid taste good?

Entertain & Pamper Yourself on just $3

While toddling through the local Dollar Tree store I spied something wonderful…a Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi play set. :)

It came with the two girls, some cats, a change of clothes and several accessories. Best of all these dolls have double sided faces. So when you press down on their heads their expressions change from happy to startled and pissed off to giddy. Fancy. And only a dollar! These would make totally fun holiday stocking stuffers for fans of the Japanese band or their now defunct cartoon on the Cartoon Network. Hell, they’re just sort of cute and fun to keep on your desk even if you have no idea whatsoever who they are.

I also found some fab “Got 2 Be” brand hair products, both shampoo and styling putty. Sweet! And they smell good.

What fun goodies have you been grabbing up at your local dollar store lately?
