I found a few yarn craft pattern books from the 1930s at a thrift store for a quarter each and couldn’t pass them up. One book was devoted solely to accessories and there were gobs of really unique purse, hat and belt projects. In fact, I’m almost tempted to learn how to crochet just so I can make the spider web purse:

And maybe this hat, since no one else in town will be wearing one even remotely like it.
