Everyone in bunny ears…

I am pleased to inform you that Cadbury cream eggs are now readily available at your local market.

They are here extra early this year which means that we have additional time to enjoy the obnoxiously sugary seasonal goodness.

Hooray, hooray!

Oh, go ahead and mark April 9 on your calendar while you’re at, for on that post Easter Monday our beloved eggs will be marked 50% off, at which point it is entirely appropriate to commence hoarding them even it if means bum rushing the holiday clearance aisle at Target and shoving as many into your cart as possible before some punk soccer mom on a cell phone tries to abscond with them first.

Flippy and Sparky will probably need therapy.

The Fish ‘n Flush Toilet is fascinating!

You can even buy an optional lighting kit which turns the loo into a giant, flushable nightlight filled with scaly chums so you’re never alone, even at 2am when you have to drain your clam.

In the event that you’re not into fish keeping, the clear tank also serves as the ultimate means of creating fetching seasonal dioramas as seen in the photo section. Imagine the crafty possibilities. Now the toilet isn’t just functional, it becomes an object of art, a canvas of kitsch. And when you have a party you can even fill it with mini disco ball ornaments, flip on the light and turn your bathroom into studio 54. :)

Pay For Your Call It Keeps The Bill Small

I stumbled upon my little wooden coin box this morning while trying to find a pair of curious George socks. Oh, so that’s where this thing wound up? I haven’t seen it in almost two years only to have it reappear amongst the novelty spud covers? Huh.

Anyway.

It was made in Ireland by a company called “Corrigcraft” and it still bears the original price tag of 63P at “M.Standun.” I did a quick search and found a store by that name in Galway, minus the “M.” Perhaps that is the same place that this came from? The wood is a little dried out but the bank is otherwise in good shape and quite unique and charming…
