About Me
I’m a quirky, earthy-crunchy Virgo with an affinity for crafting, gardening, thrift store shopping, tag sales, photography, writing and going on field trips. I grew up in a suburban village outside of a large city where many of my classmates were from Japan. A girl named Ria introduced me to the wonders of Sanrio back in grade 2 and I’ve been a fan ever since. Hello Kitty is my favorite cartoon gal, and how! For heavens sake I even toast cat heads on my breakfast bread before decapitating Miss Kitty vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
I’m 5′2 and have dark hair with auburn undertones. I rather enjoy jeans and cute sweaters with boots. Vintage purses and costume jewelry are just dreamy. I have boxy tortoise shell glasses for reading. They’re sort of nerdy which pleases me greatly.
I rather enjoy tattoos and body art.
Sometimes I work out though not as often as I should.
My favorite foods are tuna casserole, avocado sushi, baked ziti and jelly donuts, just not all at once.
I have an awesome gentleman caller who I love a whole bunch. He’s a tad younger and quite studly.
Needless to say we lead a very Dharma and Greg like existence.
It took a long time for me to find the chap of my dreams.
But he was worth the wait.
One day he asked me to marry him!
And what do you know, I said yes.
A year after that we got hitched in NYC.
Nine months later amidst a rainstorm in the middle of the night, Leah Suzanne came sashaying into our lives! She’s a brown eyed, auburn haired gal who enjoys hanging out with her chums and family, chasing the cats while shouting “itty! itty!”, shopping at Baby Gap, watching “Yo Gabba Gabba”, reading cardboard books and having tea parties. She’s amazing and wonderful and being her Momma is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Cue heart felt music and insert warm fuzzies here.
We are also the proud parents of a gassy but loveable teenage kittyman and a furry toddler named Lucy.
The kittyman is an outspoken gemini who enjoy long walks off short sidewalks, spirited games of marco polo in the bathtub and watching Paula Dean make tempting frosted deserts on the Food Network.
Lucy is a petite furball who enjoys playing tag with the kittyman, watching the toilet flush and staring at people as they sleep. Some say she looks like an ocelot.
Welcome to my world.
